The demon of Tasmania

The Tasmanian devil , I do not mean the Warner cartoon, but the truth, the Tasmanian Devil , it is a marsupial from the family of the Dasyuridaes of which only live in the famous island of Tasmania in Australia.

El demonio de Tasmania

El demonio de Tasmania, no me refiero al dibujo animado de la Warner, sino al de verdad, al Sarcophilus harrisii, es un marsupial de la familia de los Dasyuridaes de los que sólo habitan en la famosa isla de Tasmania, en Australia.

Tiene un pequeño tamaño, pero posee una fueza indiscutible. Se caracteriza por su piel cubierta de pelo negro, por su desagradable olor ligado al estrés, por su gritos molestos, así como por sus hábitos alimenticios y por su forma de reproducción. Se alimenta de carroña y de animales lentos, incluidos insectos y serpientes. Puede romper huesos con su dentadura y comerse un cadáver completo, incluidos el pelo y las plumas.
